About SilverMaple

Committed to Exceptional Senior Living

The maple tree reveals endurance and strength even when transplanted. Because it displays gorgeous fall foliage, it is also a symbol of adaptability, promise, and balance. Lastly, the beauty of the maple tree is associated with serenity.

At SilverMaple, we celebrate our residents for the wisdom that comes with this silver season. We recognize their strength as they allow us into their lives as new, extended family members. We also aim to be that place of joyful serenity they deserve.

Our Core Values

Care that is powered by empathy and grace

Every action at SilverMaple is driven by genuine care and affection for our residents. We value each individual as unique and deserving of love and attention. Empathy and kindness are at the heart of our interactions.

Dependence and Gratitude to the Lord

Our faith in the Lord guides our mission and values, and we recognize and are grateful for His provision. We draw from His goodness to welcome each day as a fresh opportunity to learn and spread His grace.

Accountability, Transparency, Integrity

We hold ourselves accountable for our actions and maintain open, honest communication with residents, their families, and our team. We are dedicated to doing the right thing regardless of cost or consequence.

Mutual Respect

We foster a culture of mutual respect in all interactions, whether it’s with residents, their families, our team, business partners, or the community.

LEA RODRIGUEZ, PT, DPT

Founder/Managing Member

Lea Rodriguez is a licensed physical therapist with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Texas Medical Branch. She has 30+ years of patient care experience in multiple settings. Lea’s practice has spanned across the Philippines, NY, NJ, and TX, serving at nationally recognized facilities such as The Kessler Institute, Atlantic Health, TIRR Memorial Hermann, and Brookdale Senior Living in Houston.

Lea is a Texas Organization of Residential Care Homes (TORCH)-certified Manager, a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP), and a Residential Assisted Living Academy-certified Memory Care specialist. Her passion for senior care was born from her tenure as a rehab director at Brookdale Senior Living, the largest operator of senior housing in the United States, where she witnessed the unique challenges faced by the aging population and the families, including the tough decisions about ongoing care. This led her to co-author “Why Senior Living Matters: Demystifying Care Options for Mom and Dad” with Max Keller, a work advocating for high quality senior care.

Lea’s deep connection to her late father continues to inspire her work, and her patients often praise her for her healing touch and compassionate nature. She brings the same dedication to her assisted living homes, ensuring that every resident receives thoughtful and respectful care.

CARMINA DEL FONSO
Founder/Managing Member

Carmina del Fonso holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from the Ateneo de Manila University, and an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University. With over 25 years of experience in global supply chain, she has overseen multibillion-dollar international freight programs for Fortune 50 companies, managing key strategic accounts with an aggregate portfolio over $2B.

Inspired by the loving and formative relationships with her grandmother, Raquel, and her mother, Mila, Carmina sees her work in elder care as a tribute to these two remarkable women. Their examples of faith and sacrifice fashioned her commitment to creating a nurturing environment for seniors.

Carmina’s dedication to the elderly is further reflected in her former hospice volunteer work in NJ and AZ. She strives to honor seniors by ensuring they are respected, and that they feel seen, heard, and cared for with intentionality during this sacred season in their lives.

Our Senior Living Home

SilverMaple Assisted Living is designed to be a true home for our residents, where they can feel comfortable, safe, and loved while enjoying the amenities of a clean, bright, modern space. We chose to build in Fulshear, Texas, the nation’s second fastest-growing city, because it is conveniently located near hospitals, urgent care facilities, pharmacies, schools, churches, and community centers. As the city expands, there will be even more amenities, infrastructure, retail options, and healthcare services available to our residents.
